Elevate General Investment Account (Elevate GIA)
The Elevate GIA is a product wrapper designed to hold your clients’ investments, with access to a wide range of investment options for either single or joint applicants. Each Elevate GIA has its own GIA Cash from which charges and adviser remuneration are paid. GIA Cash also enables your clients to hold cash pending investment decisions or as an asset class of its own. Clients can also take income via single or regular payments providing there is sufficient cash available.

  • Investing in the Elevate GIA is intended to be a medium (at least 5 years) to long term (over 10 years) investment.
  • There are three categories of investment options available through the Elevate GIA. These are cash, investment funds and securities. 
  • The value of investments can fall as well as rise and is not guaranteed. Clients could get back less than they invest.
  • The minimum initial investment amount into the Elevate GIA is £1,000. Alternatively, clients can commit to minimum regular payments of:
    - £100 monthly;
    - £300 quarterly;
    - £500 half yearly or,
    - £1,000 yearly.
  • No minimum amount for transfers into the Elevate GIA.
  • Charges taken from a client’s portfolio are used to cover the following:
    - Elevate carrying out required transactions
    - Adviser remuneration
    - Third party investment costs
