AXA Elevate extends functionality and reduces Elevate initial charge[

21 January 2010

To accompany the latest functionality release on its award-winning* Elevate platform, AXA now offers 0% retained Elevate initial charge across all product wrappers on the composite charging structure.

Elevate’s composite charging structure is designed for advisers with clients that have straightforward investment requirements, such as individual savings accounts (ISAs). With no initial margin on composite, Elevate is offering advisers all the benefits of an award-winning* platform with no restrictions on re-registering on or off the platform.

AXA believes the 0% charge will prove highly attractive to advisers who have been frustrated by many platforms’ inflexible approach to re-registration. Elevate’s new charging removes another barrier for advisers wishing to transfer funds in cash from more inflexible platforms. Developed with RDR in mind, Elevate is the only platform to offer two charging structures, composite and explicit, giving advisers the benefits of both a supermarket and a wrap and enabling advisers to agree remuneration at individual client level.

Key features:

• New functionality includes the addition of offshore bonds, a range of portfolio planning tools (including model portfolios and rebalancing), a developed adviser academy, discretionary management, trusts and an investment proposition developed with Architas Multi-Manager
• Elevate is now better value – retained initial charge reduced to 0% across all product wrappers available through the composite charging structure
• One client signature account activation – helping reduce paperwork
• Flexible charging, enabling advisers to select the solution which best fits their clients’ needs
• Elevate will help re-register clients’ assets elsewhere at no cost, if required.

Ian Thomas, head of online services, AXA Wealth, said: “AXA Elevate’s new charging structure represents a bold move to offer greater clarity and value to advisers and their clients. We offer a huge degree of flexibility which gives Elevate the ability to appeal across the adviser spectrum, and support those on the journey to become RDR ready. ”
