What Elevate means to you
More freedom and convenience
You can keep everything in one place by bringing existing investments onto Elevate. And your adviser can move money around and make new investments as your needs change.
More time to grow
Your money’s in the market for longer, so has more time to grow. That’s thanks to ‘pre-funding’ – which means we’ll invest your money for you even before it’s cleared.
Simple pricing and lower charges
Our simple pricing means you’ll always understand exactly what you're paying, and the more you invest, the lower the charges we can offer you. Plus when you link your family members' investments together, you can all get the lower charges that are available to larger investments.
See our charges guide for details.
We've developed a paperless option which offers you the freedom to review your finances online, without the hassle of filing paperwork. You can view, print and save your documents online whenever and wherever you like.
Who regulates Elevate?
Elevate is a trading name of Elevate Portfolio Services Limited which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) which means we follow their rules and regulations. The FCA monitors all investment businesses to ensure that they're acting in the best interests of their customers.
A platform is a bit like online banking. Your adviser can choose product wrappers and investments for you, and make transactions online, on your behalf. A platform is sometimes called a ‘wrap platform’ or ‘investment platform’.
Elevate is our online investment platform. It has been designed to help you and your adviser manage your investments securely and quickly in one place, making the investments process as straightforward as possible.
A product wrapper is another name for the products you can take through the Elevate platform – for instance, an ISA or a pension. These each have different tax implications. Your money is ‘wrapped up’ in a certain product and invested.
An investment is something that is purchased with the hope that it will generate income or increase in value. Elevate gives you access to a wide range of investments, such as funds and stocks and shares, through our product wrappers. Your adviser can help you identify investments that are right for you, based on your current financial circumstances and your aims.
Investment funds operate according to a particular strategy or objective adopted by one or more ‘fund managers’. Fund managers use their investors’ money to buy particular assets or combination of assets with the aim of meeting the investment fund’s defined objective. Individual investors can purchase ‘units’ of investment funds directly from a fund manager or through products like a pension or ISA. Elevate offers access to investment funds through most of our products.
Please bear in mind
The value of investments can fall as well as rise, and you could get back less than you invest. How long you should consider investing for will depend upon the product chosen and your investment objective, but typically you should be prepared to invest for the medium (at least 5 years) to long term (over 10 years).
